The Less Crime Act Tax Credit allows Georgia taxpayers to receive a dollar-for-dollar state tax credit when they contribute to law enforcement foundations like the Brookhaven Police Foundation.

For Example: If you owe $1,000 in Georgia taxes, you can redirect that $1,000 to the Brookhaven Police Foundation instead of sending it to the State of Georgia.
To receive your state tax credit:
- Register with the GA Dept. of Revenue
- Receive approval within 30 days
- Make your contribution within 60 days
Tax credit limits:
- Individuals: up to $5,000
- Married Filing Jointly: up to $10,000
- LLCs: up to $10,000
- Corporations: up to 75% of GA tax liability

The Mission of the Brookhaven Police Foundation is to support the Brookhaven Police Department in their efforts to enhance the safety of the City of Brookhaven. History: The Brookhaven Police Foundation was founded in 2016 by a diverse group of Brookhaven citizens. The original and current board members have a passion for serving those that put their lives on the line everyday in order to make our community safe. Our board of Brookhaven residents, consists of a former director of the Latin American Association, an original Lynwood Park school integrator, engineers, business owners, financial advisors and professionals, a local restaurant owner, a city of Brookhaven founder and a Super Bowl champion.
