The Brookhaven Bucks are a wooden-bat collegiate summer baseball team, playing in the Sunbelt League at Oglethorpe University.  Players are often contenders to go pro –we get to see them right here at home, and for just $5.
 
Contribute to a good cause! For the second year the first ball will be thrown out by Mary Tifton Carter.  MT is a Brookhaven girl who celebrated her first year anniversary of being free of childhood ovarian cancer in May. (Google her – what a courageous presence!) Mary Tipton also wants people to know that ladies of all ages can get ovarian cancer, as she was only 8 years old when diagnosed. At her request, proceeds from our raffle will benefit the Georgia Ovarian Cancer Alliance. http://www.gaovariancancer.org/
