Join us in celebrating a momentous occasion at the Brookhaven Chamber Member Ribbon Cutting event for Petite Violette! This August marks 50 years of exceptional service and fine dining at Atlanta’s premier, family-owned French restaurant, and co-owners Michael and Anthony Gropp want to celebrate with fellow Chamber Members on August 20th at noon.
Established in 1974 as Petite Auberge by the talented Chef Wolfgang Gropp, Petite Violette has been a beloved culinary destination for over four decades. Chef Gropp, who trained under renowned chefs in Europe and Canada, including some mentored by the legendary Auguste Escoffier, brought his passion for the culinary arts to Atlanta. Along with his wife, Ilse, and Ilse’s brother, Helmut, Chef Gropp dedicated himself to creating a consistently superior dining experience that has delighted generations of patrons.
Over the years, Wolfgang passed his knowledge, experience, and love for creating classical dishes down to his sons Michael and Anthony. Dish Around Town wrote a great article about Petitie Violette and included "a bit of history" that is a great read. Read more here
We invite you to join us on August 20 at 12 PM to honor this incredible milestone. Come enjoy delicious appetizers and be part of the celebration of Petite Violette’s rich history and bright future. Don't miss this special event as we commemorate 50 years of culinary excellence and community engagement!
