Fees/Admission

The cost to attend is $30 for Brookhaven Chamber Members (use promo code  Brookhaven ) and $35 non-chamber members.  Registration includes a plated breakfast provided by Holiday Inn Atlanta Perimeter.  Those wishing to attend must register online; registration will end on Sunday at midnight prior to the event, no walk-ins will be accepted, and no refunds will be given.  Payment is required by credit card at the time of registration.

The Governmental Affairs Council of the Dunwoody Chamber of Commerce will host members of both State and local legislative bodies who will give legislative updates.

 
Speakers will include State Senator Fran Millar, State House Representative Tom Taylor, DeKalb County Commissioner Nancy Jester, Dunwoody City Manager Eric Linton and DeKalb County School Board member Stan Jester.  During the event speakers will discuss current issues affecting their specific areas of concentration.   
 
State Senator Fran Millar is a Republican, was elected to the State Senate for Georgia's 40th District in 2010. Senator Millar represents portions of DeKalb, Fulton and Gwinnett counties.
 
State House Representative Tom Taylor represents Georgia House District 79, which includes the entire City of Dunwoody, part of Chamblee, and part of Doraville in North DeKalb County. He was elected to the House of Representatives in 2010.
 
DeKalb County Commissioner Nancy Jester is the newly elected Commissioner for District 1 and resident of the City of Dunwoody.  She was elected to the Board in 2014.
 
Dunwoody City Manager Eric Linton was chosen as the new City Manager in December of 2014 and began his position in January of 2015.  Mr. Linton is a Credentialed Manager with the International City/County Management Association, a member of the American Institute of Certified Planners (AICP) and is active in the American Planning Association, Georgia Planning Association, the Georgia City-County Management Association and the Association County Commissioners of Georgia.
 

Newly elected DeKalb County School Board member Stan Jester is a resident of the City of Dunwoody and represents District 1 which includes all schools in the City of Dunwoody.
