We were formerly known as the Development Authority of DeKalb County, starting in 1974. Forty years later through an intergovernmental agreement with DeKalb County, Decide DeKalb became the primary entity for promoting economic development in the county.
Emboldened with our new name and renewed commitment, we continue to develop and cultivate the industries of advanced manufacturing, logistics, professional and business services. We also support trades, tourism, life sciences, sports and entertainment throughout the county.
