The forum's theme “Addressing Violence in DeKalb County” will continue the discussions about gangs, dating violence, mental health and depression that began at the October 2015 FDHA 4th Annual Health Summit. The summit focused on addressing the issues of violence and sharing of resources and solutions to reduce violence throughout Fulton and DeKalb counties. This event is open to the public, so please share with your friends and colleagues. Registration is required. DeKalb County Commissioner Larry Johnson will act as moderator for the Adult Forum a conversation about “Working on Building a Safer DeKalb County.” Other participants include: Dr. LeRoy Reese, Associate Professor Community Health and Preventive Medicine, Morehouse School of Medicine Mosi Bayo, Program Manager Sexual Violence Prevention Program Adolescent & School Health Chronic Disease Prevention Section Georgia Department of Public Health Dr. Imani Michelle Scott, Women’s Resource Center for Domestic Violence Daryl Queen, Chief Trial Attorney, the Law Office of the DeKalb County Public Defender Office Dr. S. Elizabeth Ford district health director of the DeKalb County Board of Health will act as moderator for the Youth Forum a conversation about “Helping Youth Prevent Violence and Lead Healthy Lives in DeKalb County.” Other participants include: Maria Banjo, Assistant Solicitor, DeKalb County Solicitor-General's Office Dr. R.
