(AVC)\, a nonprofit organization 501(c)(3)\, has provided a family-centered and holistic approach to supporting and improving the lives of the deaf or hard of hearing. AVC offers truly unique services\, making it one of only a few such centers in the United States offering comprehensive Auditory-Verbal therapy and a full-service Audiology & Hearing Aid Clinic. We focus on listening and spoken language\, with locations in Atlanta and Macon and we also offer Teletherapy services for families who are unable to attend in the clinic\, due to distance or limited transportation. Our Auditory-Verbal Therapists are Speech-Language Pathologists who specialize exclusively in teaching children with hearing loss to listen and speak WITHOUT the need for sign language or lip reading. We also provide intervention directly in Spanish with a bilingual therapist!\n\n\n\nDID YOU KNOW?\n\nHearing loss is more common than any other condition screened for at birth. Each year\, over 375 babies are born with hearing loss in Georgia and more than 92% of the children with hearing loss are born to typically-hearing parents.

LOCATION:INDIAN HILLS COUNTRY CLUB 4001 Clubland Drive\, Marietta\, GA 30068 Indian Hills Country Club is a Private Club located in East Cobb County that was was carved out of the North Georgia mature woodlands nestled amongst lakes and natural creeks.
