SUMMARY:National Salvation Army Week Kick Off
DESCRIPTION:National Salvation Army Week was started by Congress and President Eisenhower in 1954 and we have been celebrating the service of The Salvation Army\, its supporters\, and volunteers ever since. This year we will be kicking it all off with a food truck event in our lower parking lot\, which is right off Corporate Boulevard. For $5\, attendees can have a ticket that will provide them with food from one of four options: Charm & Jerry's\, Habanero Grill\, Brooke Lynn's\, or Chick-Fil-A. In addition\, there will be music\, games\, shopping consisting of handmade goods from Salvation Army ministries from around the world\, complimentary beverages\, and a raffle giveaway. All of the proceeds from the event will go towards sending 33 children from the Red Shield Shelter and Boys & Girls Clubs to summer camp\, paying for the registration and new equipment for each camper.
