LOCATION:Race Details Location 5K Start: Brookhaven MARTA Station 4047 Peachtree Rd NE\, Atlanta 10K Start: Chamblee MARTA Station\, 5200 New Peachtree Rd\, Chamblee\, GA 30341 Finish (5K & 10K): Buckhead Station Shopping Center 1 Buckhead Loop Rd\, Atlanta\, GA 30326 Course This fantastic 10K course winds through the Atlanta communities of Chamblee\, Brookhaven\, and Buckhead. Starting near the intersection of Chamblee Tucker Road and Peachtree Road beside the Chamblee MARTA station\, the course goes north on Peachtree Road for a short distance\, turns left on Miller Drive\, then left onto Peachtree where it blazes through Brookhaven and into Buckhead. The course turns right on Piedmont Road\, then right on Lenox Road\, ending at Buckhead Station Shopping Center on the Buckhead Loop. It's a fast course with relatively small hills (it IS Atlanta\, you know\, so there have to be a few hills!). The new 5K course starts near the Brookhaven MARTA station on Apple Valley Road\, turns left on Dresden Drive\, then turns left on Peachtree Road\, joining the 10K course and finishing at Buckhead Station Shopping Center. NOTE - The 5K and 10K start lines are approximately 3 miles apart and start at different times.. Make sure you go to the right start at the right time! Kennesaw 09/01 10 a.m.- 6 p\,m.: Big Peach Running Co. Brookhaven 09/02 Noon - 5 p.m.: Big Peach Running Co. Brookhaven Start Line Race Morning packet pickup and registration 6 6:30 a.m 5K\; 6-6:45 a.m. 10K Start time 7: 00 a.m 5K\; 7:30 a.m. 10K Parking and Transportation Plenty of free parking is available at the Chamblee and Brookhaven MARTA stations at the start of the race. The Buckhead MARTA station is around the corner from the finish line\, so taking MARTA to and from the race is a great option! After the race\, free shuttle buses will be available back to the Chamblee and Brookhaven MARTA parking lots. Post-race Festivities There will be a HUGE post-race finish line party featuring food\, music and lots of goodies from our sponsors! Take advantage of our FREE GEAR CHECK at the start and pick up a change of clothes or towel at the finish! The gear check will move with you! Awards Awards will be given to the top three overall males and females\, top three overall masters males and females\, top three assisted wheelchair athletes\, top male and female with Cystic Fibrosis.
